Our story, our commitment
At Mr. Water Heater, we believe in building trust through transparency and exceptional service. Discover the journey that shaped our family business and our dedication to the Fort Worth community.
A family legacy of trust and service
Mr. Water Heater traces its roots back to 1947, when our grandfather, A.L. "Bud" Shumard, began his roofing company. This venture blossomed into a full family business, with many family members, including our uncle Martin "Marty" Shumard, venturing into adjacent trades like plumbing. From these beginnings, the core values of honesty, strong ethics, and a commitment to delivering a fair day's work for an honest wage were forged. For over 25 years, we have proudly upheld these principles, striving to provide authentic and respectable performance in our trade. We take immense pride in being "honest" people, genuine to our core in our beliefs, motives, ethics, and family heritage.
Protecting the health of Texans for over 2 decades.
For us, serving customers in Fort Worth goes beyond just fixing pipes. It's about protecting the health of Texans. Plumbers play a vital role in ensuring safe, sanitary sewer and water systems for every home and business alike. This responsibility drives our commitment to excellence, guaranteeing that our community has access to clean water and reliable plumbing infrastructure. Your well-being is our priority, and we strive to provide exemplary service that upholds the highest standards of public health.
